By Car

Follow signs directing to Giessen, leave the Highway towards "Stadtmitte" (city center), then follow the signs "Mathematikum" and "Bahnhof" (train station).

We recommend parking at Parkhaus Bahnhofstraße, a nearby (150 m) multi-story car park. All-day parking costs 5 € flat.

Is Mathematikum suitable for people with disabilities?

Every level and all but one room of the Mathematikum are accessible. We also have a toilet for wheelchair users on the ground floor.
To reach the exhibition, wheelchair users need to use a lift with a capacity of 225 kg and a 100x75 cm plattform. If your wheelchair should be bigger than that, we can provide you with a smaller one.

A high percentage of exhibits at the Mathematikum can be used by blind or visually impaired visitors.
Our staff will be happy to help you find the experiments accessible to you or help you with any other queries during your visit!

There are two spots for disabled parking in front of the Mathematikum. Should these be taken or blocked for any reason, please do not hesitate to park in our back yard.

If you have any additional questions regarding your visit do not hesitate to contact us.
